Rhea Ripley Cheats to Defeat Charlotte Flair at WWE Hell in a Cell 2021

Charlotte Flair walked in like a true queen, ready to humble Rhea Ripley at Hell in a Cell. The former Raw Women’s Champion wanted Ripley at her best and planned to knock her rival out, and everything led up to this moment which was set to bring out the best and worst of both stars.

Although the match didn’t take place inside the cell, the two were ready to rip each other apart. Charlotte made her game plan clear as she escalated things as soon as she got the opportunity. Attempting to pin Ripley through a roll-up, the Champion was nearly caught off-guard.

Charlotte Flair gained the early advantage over Ripley

If the match was in rounds, Charlotte would have won the first one. She completely took apart the Champion with her innovative offence and targeted every point, especially Ripley’s leg. However, the Champion wrestled her way back in and got the jump on Flair soon enough.

A flying dropkick saw Flair flying to the other side of the ring, but ‘The Queen’ countered quickly by sending Ripley into the turnbuckle. With a damaged leg, the Champion could not get up and struggled to find her senses.

Charlotte saw this and quickly hit her signature move, Natural Selection. However, ‘The Nightmare’ found her way out and brawled to get back in the match. With a severely damaged leg and a bad knee, Ripley managed to superplex Flair off the top rope. Both women fought with an iron will and Ripley saw sights of victory by hitting the Riptide.

However, Flair found her way out of the pin by reaching the ropes. ‘The Queen’ closed in on the kill by further tormenting Ripley’s leg. She managed to kick the steel steps on her feet, after which Charlotte locked in the Figure Eight.

Rhea Ripley held on to her title through disqualification

‘The Nightmare’ managed to struggle out and finally used the commentary desk to assault Flair. The official immediately rang the bell and disqualified Rhea. However, she still remained Champion as a result of that.

Rhea Ripley proved that she too is not a babyface but did what she had to for the win. Charlotte Flair, on the other hand, has to walk out with a bitter-sweet victory and will undoubtedly challenge Ripley again soon. For now, she has to deal with the frustrating result.
