Dominic Cooper has fifth car stolen from outside his house in a year as he appeals for information from fans
Dominic Cooper’s run of bad luck with luxury cars continues as the actor has had his fifth car stolen from outside his house in 12 months.
The Mamma Mia star, 43, revealed on Sunday that his Jaguar XF had been stolen from outside his home in North London, appealing to fans for information.
He wrote alongside a photo of the car on his driveway: ‘Happy Father’s Day… This has just been pinched. Can’t be far.
‘If you’re in North London please keep an eye out. Thank you ever so much.’
He added: ‘Stolen. Please contact police or me if you see it. Thank you.’
Dominic’s Jaguar being stolen comes just four months after his £83,000 Ferrari Dino 308 GT4 was stolen from his home.
The car was reported to have been found days later in February, over 50 miles away at a junkyard in Reigate, Surrey, along with four other stolen vehicles.
A source told the Daily Mail at the time: ‘The dash has been broken. Some of the wires have been cut.
‘The car is not in pristine condition, it needs a polish. Everyone was talking about how it is Dominic Cooper’s car.’
The run of car thefts began in July 2020 when Dominic’s 1950s Austin Healy car, which is worth around £65,000 was taken, along with a red Jaguar F-Type coupe he bought to replace it.
Just weeks later, a black Range Rover the actor had been using to deliver meals to NHS staff was also stolen.
A source close to Dominic told the Daily Mail that he felt he was being targeted by thieves: ‘Dominic was a victim of a spate of thefts and after a month’s past he thought he’s cracked it.
‘But after being targeted over the weekend, he’s totally gutted and completely ruined his Father’s Day. Now he feels like this drama is never going to end.’
