HGTV’s Christina Haack finalizes divorce from Ant Anstead nine months after split
HGTV star Christina Haack has officially finalized her divorce from ex-husband Ant Anstead, nine months after the former couple legally separated.
The Flip or Flop star and the 42-year-old British host were married for 21 months before they split in 2020, with the couple sharing one-year-old son Hudson London.
According to TMZ, the 37-year-old and her former partner have ‘privately settled’ the property and assets accumulated during their 21-month marriage.
The pair – who began their romance in November 2017 – will share legal and physical custody of their child.
At this time, both the Christina on the Coast star and Ant have yet to publicly comment on their divorce being finalized.
The news came shortly after Ant shared thoughts about Christina’s decision to place their former Newport Beach home on the market.
He told People: ‘I’m really happy for her. I think it’s the right decision. That home has memories.’
Christina listed the 4,804-square-foot Californian home on the market for $6million in April and her ex believes the many personalizations he made to the house influence her decision.
The Celebrity IOU: Joyride star explained: ‘Anyone can go and buy something, but to have it made is different. So I imagine, for Christina’s world, she needed to have that fresh start. Because she would’ve been living in a surrounding of reminders.’
The pair purchased the five-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bathroom home for their blended family back in 2018 – and held their ‘winter wonderland’ backyard wedding in December that year.
Meanwhile, Christina recently revealed she was taking a break from dating after her recent splits.
In 2018, the TV personality divorced ex Tarek El Moussa, with whom she shares daughter Taylor, 10, and five-year-old son Brayden.
Elsewhere, Ant also shares daughter Amelie, 17, and son Archie, 14, with his first wife.
