As the name suggests, the JVC Fire Smart TV is the result of a collaboration between Japanese electronics manufacturer JVC and Amazon.

The TV’s hardware is all JVC, which has made a name for itself in the last few years for making affordable-yet-enjoyable TV sets.

Featuring a 40-inch screen, this is a fairly big television set. The Full HD resolution is a pleasure to look at, also in part to its clear LED screen.

Of course, many TVs of this size come with 4K capabilities today, but at the ridiculously low price of £249, the JVC Fire Smart TV is certainly worth considering, even if it’s ‘only’ Full HD.

The integration of Amazon’s Fire capabilities allows the TV to access Freeview channels as well as a variety of apps, including Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Disney and more.
