sMothered season 3: Super close mum and daughter watch each other’s sex tapes for advice: ‘Prop your leg up at this angle’

sMothered is back for season three and those mums and daughters are closer than ever.

In fact, newbies Karla, 44, and daughter Rykia, 26, take close to a totally different level, analysing each other’s sex tapes for tips in the bedroom.

Yes, seriously.

Speaking of just how important their bond is in the Discovery+ series, the pair explained they do absolutely everything together, including asking one another for intimacy suggestions.

While we are thrown into a severe panic at the thought of a sex scene popping up unexpectedly on family movie night, they take things up a notch, as Karla confessed: ‘I showed her my first sex tape about two years ago.

‘I showed her my first sex tape maybe a year ago,’ Rykia agreed.

When expanding on why they have a slightly different take on Netflix and chill, she continued: ‘I was like, “Hey I want to spice things up, I bought this outfit, what kind of positions do you think I should do or what do you think we should do?”

‘She was just like, “Oh girl, prop your leg up at this angle, maybe your back should have been a little bit more arched in this position.”’

However, this hasn’t gone down particularly well with her partners in the past.

‘I had one significant other in the past that knew I shared the video with my mum and he was like “You guys are sick!”’ she laughed.

Sex tips aren’t the only thing the family members share, as they also wax each other regularly, and also let the cameras into their beauty routines.

‘My mother and I have been waxing each other for quite some time now,’ Rykia told viewers, while tearing a strip off of her mum’s bikini line.

‘I couldn’t imagine my life without my mum being in it, it would ruin me. I wouldn’t know what to do, how to function, and I would lose a part of myself.’

Despite being inseparable, Karla admitted that their relationship has come with judgement from others, who struggle to understand the closeness.

‘It shocks people if we share the things that we do,’ she added.

‘I think when people don’t know everything about a relationship, they will judge the little bit that they see.

‘Our relationship is a great balance of mum and best friend, so don’t question me about my relationship with my daughter – we got this over here!’

Karla and Rykia will be letting cameras in to every aspect of their relationship in new episodes of sMothered.

The brand-new series of sMothered will be available to stream exclusively on discovery+ from Tuesday 22nd June, with episodes dropping weekly.
