Why isn’t The One Show on tonight?
Fans of The One Show might be shocked to find out that the programme wasn’t on TV tonight.
In the past, Alex Jones and a whole host of guest presenters typically welcome The One Show fans to the programme every weeknight at 7pm on BBC One.
More recently, Boyzone’s Ronan Keating and footballer Jermaine Jenas have permanently joined Alex as cohosts.
The pair were the first official replacements of Matt Baker, who left the show in early 2020 after nine years on the series.
Other guest hosts have included Rylan Clark-Neal, Chris Ramsay, Alex Scott and Michael Ball.
The presenters mix interviews with a variety of celebrity guests with an eclectic mix of topics, spanning from current events to pop culture.
However, on Tuesday, June 22 the show did not air.
While details are slim at the moment, the programmes Twitter account did say the show would be back on air tomorrow.
‘There’s no One Show tonight,’ it posted.
‘But we’ll be back tomorrow with @BBCWatchdog and @davidwalliams! See you then!’
The magazine-style show has been on the air for more than a decade, with the first episode hitting the silver screen on August 14, 2006.
Metro.co.uk has reached out to the BBC for comment.
The One Show typically airs weekdays from 7pm on BBC One.
