‘Moneys Worth’: Chris Paul, LaMelo Ball & Others React to Phoenix Suns’ Thrilling Win Over Clippers in Game 2
The Phoenix Suns are doing all the justice to “Suns In Four” t shirts that fans purchased before coming to Game 2. They are now 2-0 against the Clippers after defeating them 104-103 in a nail-biting game. It’s beginning to appear as if they can impose yet another whitewash if things keep running the same manner.
Among the many heroes in the Suns’ victory, the one that stood out was De’Andre Ayton with his super clutch avatar. It was a neck-to-neck game just like Game 1 and the Suns again came on top of the Clippers.
Twitter reacted heavily after the fantabulous win
The Suns were one point ahead with less than 25 seconds remaining on the game clock. However, that changed with Paul George’s pullup jump shot and the Clips stayed in the lead until the very last second. But that’s when De’Andre Ayton tipped in Jae Crowder’s inbound pass and converted a game-winning alley-oop dunk.

What went wrong with the Clippers and right with the Phoenix Suns?
Well, to begin with, Paul George missed all of his seven initial three-point attempts and awarded some transition to the Suns. Although he still ended up scoring 26 points, the Playoff P was certainly struggling from the free throw line and also from the perimeter. Add a rusty Marcus Morris Sr. to the mix and the Clippers were digging the pothole for themselves. If not for the 31 points from their bench, it was largely a Suns show.
For the Suns, Devin Booker placing his faith in Dario Saric helped with the rotation. That was one reason why Devin Booker’s slow starting, his nose injury, and just 20 points also couldn’t stop the Suns from leading. Also, Cameron Payne was just phenomenal in filling the place for Chris Paul, scoring 29 points at 50% field shooting.
Overall, it was a breathtaking show of grit from the Suns who came out with a win-or-die mindset. So whose performance impressed you the most? Help us know in the comments.
