WWE offers an all-inclusive atmosphere and it has been the case since a very long time. In fact, WWE Hall of Famer Pat Patterson was the first gay champion in WWE history. Although he came out publicly a long time after retirement in 2014. Today the WWE roster has seven wrestlers, excluding Storm who identify themselves as a member of the LGBT community.
WWE Superstars who currently identify themselves as part of the LGBT community are Shayna Baszler, Sonya Deville, Mercedes Martinez, Jake Atlas, Piper Niven, Tegan Nox, and Kayla Braxton. All in all, it’s wonderful to see more and more people come out and accept their sexuality.
After all, it’s not about the stereotypes we’ve created. It’s about the love that’ll keep us all together despite our individual uniqueness.
