Fast and Furious 9 star Nathalie Emmanuel revealed she doesn’t actually have a driving licence, and we have some questions…

The actress plays Ramsey in the epic action franchise, including the latest instalment, F9, which has been released today.

Anyone who has even seen a glimpse of any of the films or the equally thrilling spin-offs, knows there are lots of cars involved, and a healthy helping of wild stunts.

However, during a car chase through the streets of Edinburgh in F9, Ramsey confessed to Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) that she can’t actually drive.

And, speaking to Metro.co.uk, the star revealed this is something she shares with her character.

‘I can drive technically, I know how to drive but I can’t…,’ she laughed. ‘I don’t have a licence legally, no.

‘[That’s] something we have in common.’

We’re sure she manages the streets way better than Ramsey’s attempt…

With every new Fast and Furious film that is released, it seems that the stunts are even more explosive than the gang’s previous outing – and that is definitely true of the ninth instalment.

In fact, this time they didn’t even leave outer space alone.

Nathalie revealed she threw herself right into the stunts that the star-studded cast were allowed to do, and revelled in being involved in the action.

‘We definitely have a very talented team of stunt performers and choreographers,’ she continued

‘They definitely do the majority of those stunts. We’re only allowed to do a certain amount of them, which is often very contained and not on a moving vehicle.

‘There were a couple of moments where I was excited to be more involved in the action.

‘I definitely didn’t experience the full extent of those stunts. But I’m definitely always up for trying to have a go at anything that they throw my way, as long as I feel that I can do it and it’s safe.’

Hopefully we’ll see more of Ramsey in the front seat in Fast and Furious 10.

Fast and Furious 9 is in cinemas now.
