Home Bargains is selling a stylish four piece rattan furniture set for £200

Home Bargains is selling a stylish four piece rattan garden furniture set that will only set you back £200.

The set features a sofa, two chairs and a storage table all styled in a matching rattan design, plus comfy grey cushions come included too.

The plastic materials are designed to be weatherproof so you can give the set a new home in your back garden.

You’ll be able to sit up to four people around the sofa and chairs and you can even use the table to store away the cushions or other garden gear you might have.

All four bits of the set total £199.99 altogether, and with many retailer’s garden furniture stock flying off the shelf as Brits deck out their gardens this summer, the price is a steal.

The retailer sold a similar looking set for only £150 before, complete with two chairs, sofa and a rattan table, but since that is out of stock this new version is £50 more expensive.

How to compare prices to get the best deal

JUST because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn’t mean it’s always a good deal.

There are plenty of comparison websites out there that’ll check prices for you – so don’t be left paying more than you have to.

Most of them work by comparing the prices across hundreds of retailers.

Here are some that we recommend:

  • Google Shopping is a tool that lets users search for and compare prices for products across the web. Simply type in keywords, or a product number, to bring up search results.
  • Price Spy logs the history of how much something costs from over 3,000 different retailers, including Argos, Amazon, eBay and the supermarkets. Once you select an individual product you can quickly compare which stores have the best price and which have it in stock.
  • Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers. All shoppers need to do is search for the item they need and the website will rank them from the cheapest to the most expensive one.
  • CamelCamelCamel only works on goods being sold on Amazon. To use it, type in the URL of the product you want to check the price of.

You can’t buy the outdoor furniture set online at Home Bargains as the retailer says it doesn’t currently sell its full range of products online.

Shoppers spotted the stylish collection in-store though, posting the bargain on the Facebook page Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group.

The set was listed as a StarBuy which means it will likely sell out fast, so you’ll have to be quick to cash in on the bargain.

Stock is limited to availability too, but you can always ring ahead to check how many are in your local store, and more products are due to hit shelves of a number of stores soon.

Use Home Bargain’s store locator tool to find out where that is before you head out.

It is also always best to shop around first, as even though something may look like a deal it’s not necessarily the best bargain out there.

Lidl is selling an identical set for the exact same price.

The £200 copycat comes with a twin seat sofa and two chairs plus a storage table too, all in the same weather resistant rattan material.

You can’t shop the set online at Lidl either as the retailer only sells products in-store so you would have to make a trip out to the shops to grab the set again.

You can pick up a four seater coffee set from B&Q for an extra £75, as the retailer is selling another style that looks similar to Home Bargains at £275.

This one you can get delivered if you check your postcode, delivery is also free as it’s over £250, but there are free click and collect options too.

You can also buy a very similar looking set from The Range for £430 which is £230 more expensive than Home Bargain’s version.

There are slight differences between the sets, most notably the table doesn’t double as a storage box but it does have a glass top, you can also get the version from The Range in a choice of four colours.
