Love Island 2021 is just round the corner, with the islanders set to arrive on Monday – but there’s still time for fans to get involved.

There have been 11 contestants confirmed to be heading into the Majorcan villa when the ITV2 dating show launches next week, but the show is still accepting applications for last-minute arrivals.

While the show’s website states that applications closed on June 16, ITV has confirmed to Metro.co.uk that fans can still apply to be considered for the series.

Reckon you’d be a great addition to the villa? Back yourself to stir things up as a bombshell arrival? If you’re over 18, apply here.

Meanwhile, Love Island hasn’t even started yet, but two singletons have already emerged as the early favourites to win the series

After it was announced that the upcoming season will make history with Hugo Hammond becoming the first-ever disabled contestant to appear on the programme, the islanders introduced themselves in teaser videos.

New star Sharon has spoken about the upcoming series, saying she won’t be having sex on TV like Zara Holland – but while contestant Liberty Poole isn’t going into the Majorcan villa with the intention of having sex on TV, she isn’t ruling it out.

One star, Chloe Burrows, has boasted about getting involved with a married dad as she prepares to enter the villa, admitting that she ‘still drunk calls him’.

Love Island will be hosted and narrated by the same dynamic duo who fronted the 2020 winter season – Laura Whitmore and Iain Stirling.

Laura ‘hopes to do Caroline Flack proud’ as she called on viewers to show the new contestants respect in a recent Instagram post.

Love Island launches Monday 28 June at 9pm on ITV2.
