Players to watch out for in equestrian

The equestrian events have a ton of bright stars ready to showcase their talent to the world. Along with them are certain legends of the sport, including past medal winners and Olympians. Of all the teams so far, the US team has looked the most impressive. With Phillip Dutton leading the eventing team and Steffen Peters in dressage, they have a high chance of attaining a high medal tally.

In Rio 2016, the German team stomped the US team on the path to a silver medal. A major reason for their success was Michael Jung, who also clinched gold in the individual eventing category. He returns to the Olympics hungry to win gold in Tokyo.

France too have their star power and will pose a tough challenge to the US, German, British and Australian teams. However, does the mighty US team have enough in terms of experience and quality to carry them through to the medals?
