When will the UFO report be released by the Pentagon?
The US government’s unclassified report on Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) is expected to be released to Congress before the end of June 2021.
It could even be made public today, Thursday June 24, or tomorrow , according to CNET.
But, the Washington Post warned, it might be delayed as “agencies have missed similar congressional reporting deadlines in the past; and the provision is not technically binding”.
Lawmakers demanded the findings be released after some 120 incidents over the past 20 years were reported by US military.
US Navy pilots, for example, recorded objects traveling at seemingly hypersonic speeds, spinning and mysteriously disappearing.
The sheer number of what the Pentagon terms Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) has made it a serious issue.

It comes amid worries that US adversaries like China and Russia may be using unknown, highly advanced military and surveillance technologies.
“We take all incursions into our operating spaces seriously,” Pentagon Spokesperson John Kirby said.
“It could potentially involve safety and or national security concerns,” he added, referring to the UAP reports the Defense Department has logged.
The report, ordered in 2020, is to be submitted to Congress by the end of June by the director of national intelligence.
The main report will be unclassified and can be made public, but there will also be a classified annex, the New York Times said, that will remain secret.
New York Mag described it as an “unprecedented act of transparency” from the Pentagon.

What is expected to be announced?
The UFO report, The Washington Post said, “will offer no firm conclusions about what the objects… might be.”
US military and intelligence have apparently found no evidence that seemingly highly advanced unidentified flying objects sighted by military pilots were alien spacecraft.
CNet explains: “The report is expected to say that there’s no evidence the UAP seen by military personnel are secret advanced American technology or alien spacecraft.
“But a possible alien explanation can’t be definitively ruled out.
“That means the intelligence community seems to think that UAP have causes that are some combination of unknown, mundane or originating with foreign or private entities.”
Possible links to highly intelligent extraterrestrial life were suggested after the Pentagon released videos last year, in which Navy pilots express amazement at the fast-moving objects they see.
Also, top officials with access to intelligence, including former president Barack Obama have spoken out.
“What is true – and I’m actually being serious here – is that there’s footage and records of objects in the skies that we don’t know exactly what they are,” Obama told The Late Late Show.
“There are a lot more sightings than have been made public,” John Ratcliffe, who was director of national intelligence for the last eight months of Donald Trump’s administration, said on Fox News.
“There are instances where we don’t have good explanations for some of the things that we’ve seen,” he added.
He suggested that the report would outline incidents from “all over the world”.
“We’re talking about objects that have been seen by Navy or Air Force pilots or have been picked up by satellite imagery that frankly engage in actions that are difficult to explain,” Ratcliffe said.

Luis Elizondo, who worked on the Pentagon’s UAP investigation and has urged it to reveal what it knows, said some of the sightings suggest extremely advanced technology unknown to humans.
“If the New York Times reporting is accurate, the objects being witnessed by pilots around the world are far more advanced than any earthly technologies known to our intelligence services,” he said.
“It’s time to release the full report, videos and data that we’ve seen in the Pentagon,” Elizondo added.
BBC News reports: “Military leaders warn that the technology, if not alien, may belong to US adversaries such as Russia or China.”
On August 4, 2020, the establishment of an Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) Task Force was approved.
Its mission is to detect, analyze and catalog UAPs that could potentially pose a threat to US national security.
Chris Jones of the Mutual UFO Network said: “The phenomenon has just been validated by the papers coming out that, yes, there’s something out there.
“No, we don’t know what it is, but it’s worth looking into. And that’s what we’ve been doing for decades,” reports Sky News.

How can I read the Pentagon report?
UFO fans are anxiously awaiting the Pentagon report, which will shortly be submitted to Congress.
Its findings – but not all, as a portion will remain classified – are expected to be reported by media across the globe.
