‘Ring Chaser’: American Actor Brutally Bashes Kevin Durant For His Comments Against Scottie Pippen
There isn’t anything that doesn’t make its way back to the Brooklyn Nets’ superstar Kevin Durant, and Scottie Pippen should have known that. But Pippen went ahead and gave hot take after hot take on KD. Of course, Durant did not shy away from dropping his opinions on Pippen on Twitter either and tried to give him a taste of his own medicine. However, actor Michael Rapaport sided with Pippen in this feud.
The Scottie Pippen and Kevin Durant Feud
All everyone could talk about after the Milwaukee Bucks vs Brooklyn Nets series was the way KD led the team. Despite James Harden and Kyrie Irving going down with injuries, he was able to take Milwaukee to a Game 7. Although they were eliminated, everyone left with respect for Durant. Some had even changed their perception about him only joining forces with super teams.
But it looks like Scottie Pippen was still not as convinced. He extensively compared KD to LeBron and how if it was LeBron, he would have won that series. He went on an unstoppable rant about how Durant has a lot to learn and this was only the first time he has really seen KD take charge.
This did not sit well with Durant, who pinched Pippen where it would hurt the most. From calling him out because of missing the last play in the 1994 playoffs against the Knicks because he was mad at Phil Jackson, to delaying his surgery until the next season began so he could enjoy the summer, KD said it all.
What was Michael Rapaport’s take?
When someone questions the Chicago Bulls legend, there is bound to be some pushback. This time, it came from Michael Rapaport, who posted a video of himself furious at KD’s comments. He said, “Durant is out here trolling Scottie with the Six Rings Pippen. You just lost. There is no MVPs on Twitter.”

“You were just crying and complaining when a 6-foot-5 P. J. Tucker was pushing you around. What do you think 6-foot-9 Scottie Pippen would do to you?… You just lost ring chaser,” said Rapaport. He accused Durant of being carried by Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green to win the championship with the Warriors.
Rapaport even went ahead to say that KD did give his best, but that wasn’t enough. He further stated, “You said that you didn’t want to be in shadows of anyone else but your shadow just wasn’t big enough to get it done in Brooklyn. So what you had two great games? Little Trae Young just had 48 last night. You lost! Go on vacation, cut your toenails, stop shooting airballs to end the season. Loser!”
Michael really went all in to put Durant in his place. From what the world knows of Durant, it’s unlikely that he will hold back from responding here. How far do you think this beef will go?
