Twitch Bans the Alternate Account of Popular Minecraft Streamer, Leaving Him Unable to Stream on His Main Channel

Sometimes, understanding humor can be a tough task and can result in unfortunate consequences. The exact same thing happened with popular Minecraft speedrunner Feinberg on Twitch. The streaming platform failed to understand a joke he made. As a result, he is now in a position where he can no longer stream on the platform.

Feinberg, just like other popular streamers, had an alternate Twitch channel called “FeinbergSucks”. One fine day, he decided to make fun of himself by attacking his primary streaming account from his alt. However, Twitch assumed that he was making fun of another streamer and handed his alternate account a ban from the platform.

Feinberg can no longer stream on Twitch

Since Twitch policy doesn’t allow suspended streamers to appear on other channels as well, Feinberg is stuck in a tricky situation. Since Twitch banned him on his alternate account, he can no longer stream on his primary account either. Unfortunately, Feinberg is a full-time streamer, which means he will be missing out on a huge chunk of his revenue if he misses out on a few streams.

Feinberg has already tweeted out to Twitch to seek support on the matter. He has urged the streaming platform to fix the slip-up as soon as possible so that he can get back to streaming again. He is naturally afraid of streaming on his primary account since he will end up breaking ToS, something he wants to avoid at all costs.

Fienberg suffers the disadvantage of being a small streamer

Feinberg only has about 26K followers on Twitch, making him a small streamer on the platform. There have been multiple streamers who have faced false bans on the site. However, their influence and massive fanbase have helped them get their suspensions lifted in a matter of few hours.

Unfortunately, it has been 2 days, and Feinberg has yet to hear a word from the streaming platform. Even after his support request, there is no help in sight, and his fairly small fanbase hasn’t been of much help either. The Twitch Support account on Twitter is only active on weekdays. Therefore, he would probably have to wait for a few more days before he can get any relief.
