UFC Fight Night on July 17 Cancel a Fight as Amir Albazi Pulls Out
The UFC had set a flyweight bout between Amir Albazi and Ode Osbourne for July 17. This was supposed to be the first UFC flyweight fight for Osbourne who had previously plied his trade at the 135 lbs and 145 lbs weight class. However, he may have to wait or make his flyweight debut on the aforementioned date against a new opponent as Albazi pulled out of the event. Currently, the UFC is seeking a replacement fighter for Osbourne as the promotion wants to continue with the event.
Per sources, Amir Albazi is out of #UFCVegas31. The promotion is currently seeking a replacement to fight Ode Osbourne on the July 17 card in Las Vegas.

The UFC Fight Night event on July 17 will also feature the return of one of the most famous women’s fighters in UFC history. After over four years ‘Cupcake’ Miesha Tate will enter the octagon for her last run as a combatant. She will face Marion Reneau in a bantamweight showdown.

The top-15 ranked lightweights, Islam Makhachev and Thiago Moises occupy the main event spot. While Moises is on a three-fight winning streak, Makhachev has won his last seven fights in a row with only a single defeat in his MMA career. Thus, this is a crucial contest for both the fighters as a win will assist them to rise in the rankings and move closer to a title shot.
