NICE! Rafael Nadal Vacations On His Luxuries Boat Following Wimbledon Championship 2021 Withdrawal

Rafael Nadal has had a tough summer this year having lost in the French Open semifinals against Novak Djokovic. The Spaniard failed to retain his title from last year and went on to withdraw from the big events later this summer. With no pressure of competitions hanging over his head in the near future, the Spaniard is enjoying some much-needed time off.

Having announced his decision to opt out of competing at the upcoming Wimbledon Championships and Olympics was basking in the sun, on his yacht, Catamaran, in the Balearic Sea near Spain.

The 13-time French Open winner is holidaying in the Mediterranean region on his personal superyacht, which he’d bought for a whopping €5.5 million. The 28-meter long boat can accommodate 12 people at a time. The tennis star had bought this luxurious asset on his 34th birthday last year.

Rafael Nadal and his many luxurious assets

Sports personalities earn, hence they spend big as well. Nadal’s total career earnings from tennis is well over the $100 million mark, and the Spaniard knows how to spend his money. From buying lavish watches to luxurious boats, he has lived life king size. The Catamaran he bought last year was another sign of the luxurious lifestyle that the star has lived.

At the 2020 French Open, Rafael Nadal wore a Richard Mille limited edition watch during his matches. The watch was valued at around $725,000, and is one of the most expensive things he has owned. He also owns a Gocycle electric bike, valued at $4500. Nadal owns a fleet of luxurious cars, which include the likes of Aston Martin DBS and a Mercedes SL-55.

Reports suggest Nadal owned another yacht before the Catamaran, named Beethoven. He bought the Beethoven in 2016 and sold it in 2019 for $3 million. The Beethoven, a 76-foot yacht, was a regular relaxing destination for the Spaniard, during off seasons.

However, the Catamaran is no less impressive. He named the stunning custom Sunreef 80 made catamaran, the “Great White”.

After a strenuous and tiring year, Nadal decided to give some rest to his body and take a break. Hopefully, the Spaniard will be back for the US Open in August this year.
