WWE Releases 14 Superstars Including Fandango, Tyler Breeze, Tony Nese and More

WWE has yet again made several releases. This is the third time within a few months of WWE releasing Superstars.

This time, the company let go of twelve Superstars. As per reports, the company has released Tino Sabbatelli, Ariya Daivari, Tony Nese, NXT Tag Team Ever-Rise, Fandango, Tyler Breeze, August Grey, The Bollywood Boyz, Marina Shafir, Curt Stallion, Killian Dain, and Arturo Ruas.

All of the Superstars released on June 25th, 2021 are either fairly new signees or NXT Superstars. Almost all of them take to social media to express their feelings following their release.

WWE released Samoa Joe, Chelsea Green, The IIconics, Mickie James, Mojo Rawley, Bo Dallas, and Tucker in April 2021. It shocked the WWE Universe to learn WWE releasing Samoa Joe and The IIconics considering all three Superstars were actively working with the company.

Strowman was in a triple threat match against Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship prior to his release. On the other hand, Aleister Black had just returned to WWE with an improved physique when it released him.

After it released Superstars for the first time, it was reported the company wouldn’t release anymore soon. Unfortunately, that wasn’t true, and the company has continued releasing Superstars.

Possible reasons WWE is releasing Superstars

The company has constantly provided budgetary constraints as a reason for the releases. However, with it reporting profits and the officials drawing a heavy salary, that’s a controversial statement.

However, it seems the company needs to save as much funds as possible with their upcoming plans.

First, it is resuming tours. The company has already announced their 25-city summer tour.

Second, it’s planning a huge main event for SummerSlam 2021. The idea is to have Roman Reigns vs. John Cena for the main event. For this, the company will need to make enormous expenses.

Finally, fans will return to live events. This means, an additional expenditure on the company’s part of ensuring safety protocols.
