Genshin Impact: All Items You Should Farm Before Yoimiya Arrives

The studio took a rather strange move in recent times when it revealed names of the upcoming characters. miHoYo religiously holds this information for the live stream update, and hence this change in strategy seemed rather strange. However, Genshin Impact needed such clarity and transparency, as it keeps the veteran players motivated.

Now, the community has dug out more information about an upcoming character Yoimiya, and how she will be built.

Yoimiya might need these resources to reach maximum power in Genshin Impact

Every single roster member of the game requires some resources to upgrade their talent, skills, and levels. These things can only be attained by gathering useful resources that are dropped by various world bosses. In some cases, certain high-level upgrades will demand you to slay weekly bosses, that can only provide resources once per week.

This is where datamined information can prove to be helpful, as it might give you some idea of what you need. Yoimiya is projected to be a Pyro bow user, who can dish out insane amounts of damage. Pyro characters hold the spot of being the highest damage dealer, which makes Yoimiya’s reveal all the more exciting.

According to a report by Inverse, this upcoming character could use 4 crucial items to reach her maximum power level. The report also claims that miHoYo might introduce a brand new Pyro Hypostasis with Inazuma island, that will grant specific character ascension resources.

The aforementioned image points to all the necessary resources that Yoimiya may need. Pyro Hypostasis doesn’t exist in the game, and the jade crystal can still be farmed from other sources. Gamers can slay the Pyro Regisvine to pick up the crystal or craft them on the alchemy table.

Narumi could be a new resource or Inazuma’s specialty item that might be found in the open world. Similarly, Yoimiya will also need talent books to upgrade her skills, but these books and their domains are not in the game yet. However, this information could be false, as the studio hasn’t provided confirmation, so it’s best to take it with a grain of salt.
