Susanna Reid joked she had lost another Good Morning Britain co-star as she ended up sat alone live on-air when host Martin Lewis went walkabout.
There was no drama however as Martin had simply popped to the bathroom but struggled to find his way back to the studio.
As Monday’s programme returned from an advert break Susanna was in place at the famous desk but her co-presenter was no where to be seen.
She told viewers: ‘I don’t know what I said’ before Martin walked back in saying: ‘I was thinking I’d walk, I’d go…
‘But the truth is, people, when you’re new to a job and you’ve been drinking tea since 7 o’clock this morning, and then you can’t find the loo in the ad break you might occasionally be late back to your desk.’
Martin urged his co-star to ‘help’ by moving on with the rest of the show, but she stuck with it adding: ‘TMI, Martin.
‘Look we’ve got an issue with people leaving the studio on this programme so I’m glad you’re back.’
Her quip caused laughter around the studio with the money saving expert chuckling into his mug of tea.

She was, of course, referring to her ex-co presenter Piers Morgan who famously stormed out of the studio live on air after a row with weather presenter Alex Beresford about the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle.
Alex took Piers to task over his comments about her explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey in which she spoke about her mental health and life in the royal family since marrying Prince Harry.
In their clash Alex said: ‘I understand that you don’t like Meghan Markle you’ve made that so clear a number of times on this programme. I understand that you’ve got a personal relationship with Meghan Markle or had one and she cut you off.
‘She’s entitled to cut you off if she wants to. Has she said anything about you since she cut you off? I don’t think she has but yet you continue to trash her.’
At this point, Piers said: ‘I’m done with this. Sorry. You can trash me, mate, but not on my own show,’ while walking off set.
‘See you later, can’t do this,’ he added.
The Life Stories host has since said he regrets walking away from the confrontation.
Claiming ITV ‘didn’t offer any support’ amid his departure, he told The Sun: ‘I shouldn’t have walked off, though, I do regret that. You can’t be the great crusader of free speech and then walk off when someone says something you don’t like.’
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV.
