Love Island is back for 2021 and so are the show’s iconic water bottles – only this time, they look a little different.

There’s already been drama among the contestants, as Chloe Burrows revealed she’s ‘partial to married men’ and Shannon Singh said she has sex ‘eight times a day’.

But a more inconspicuous part of the show – namely the water bottles – have caused some controversy, too.

So what are the new designs, and where can you buy them?

The new bottles are slightly slimmer, and have a white matte finish instead of being clear.

The double-walled stainless steel body means they can be used for hot and cold drinks, so they are as good for coffee as they are for water.

Users just need to twist on the flip straw lid for cold and hook the carabiner lid for something hot.

The new design seemed to go down well with fans on social media, although not everyone seemed to love it.

‘Wow they had a good glow up,’ one said, while another added: ‘Absolutely NEED one of these!’

One unimpressed viewer said: ‘Not a big fan tbh.’

How to buy a Love Island bottle

The new bottle can be bought – and personalised – from loveislandshop.co.uk and the programme’s app.

Tote bags, washbags, robes, large and cabin-sized suitcases, baby bottles and phone cases will also be available from the site as the show returns this year.

Love Island 2021 launches on Monday at 9pm on ITV2.
