A few days ago, Essential Living predicted this year to be the wettest tournament in the last 15 years. With an expected average rainfall of 5.11 mm, it will be the wettest opening day, since 1991. The rain has always been a hassle at SW19. This year, spectators are also allowed in the stadium, at a 50% capacity, and can get annoyed at the current scenario.

All opening games are shifted by half an hour, as the rains have stopped, but the outside courts remain wet. Further information will be provided on the matter by the AELTC.
