David Baddiel and Frank Skinner have reunited as the pair got together to watch England play Germany at Uefa Euro 2020.

The comedy duo posed for a photo together in the stands at Wembley Stadium, grinning broadly just before the game began.

David, 57, and Frank, 64, who topped the charts twice with the iconic Three Lions, which is the UK’s most-played football anthem, were there to support England as they took on Germany.

Sharing a photo of their excitement, David wrote: ‘So…it’s been a while since we were here for this particular fixture. #ENGGER’.

The duo had written Three Lions in 1996 when England faced Germany in the semi-finals of the European Championships.

It topped the charts for the second time in 2018 as England once again reached the semi-finals, before they were eventually beaten by Croatia.

David and Frank were hoping to be lucky charms for the England squad by being in the stands for their Euro 2020 as they faced off against Germany.

They were among a host of stars, including Ed Sheeran, David Beckham and Ellie Goulding, who were present to watch the match in person this week.

While some stars were lucky enough to be there in person, some that won’t be watching the match this evening are the stars of Love Island 2021, who will not be shown the game in the villa.

More: Frank Skinner

ITV confirmed to Metro.co.uk that the contestants won’t be allowed to watch the football even if England do manage to bring it home as any TVs in the villa will remain off for the duration of their stay.

Here’s hoping Baddiel and Skinner being in the crowd will be a good omen, but whatever happens in the game, at least we know they could definitely lead the crowd in a rousing rendition of Three Lions.
