THROWBACK: Jake Paul Trashes Deontay Wilder’s Performance Against Tyson Fury Immediately After Wilder-Fury 2

In February 2020, Deontay Wilder suffered a lopsided loss to his arch-rival, Tyson Fury. This was his first loss that came in the most tragic fashion. This loss not only shook Wilder, but the entire fight universe. Also, in this contest, the American boxer also lost his hard-earned heavyweight straps.

Post the fight, the YouTuber turned boxing sensation, Jake Paul talked to Boxing Social. Here he opened up on ‘The Bronze Bomber’s terrifying loss. “Wilder fought like s**t bro like. No jabs, nothing. Like the lack of performance.” he said.

Prior to facing Tyson Fury in a rematch, Wilder had one of the most intimidating records and a major chunk of his wins arrived via sublime T/KO’s.

However, in a rematch with the Brit, he failed to land his dynamite-like hands and consequently ended up with a disheartening defeat. Fury exposed ‘The Bronze Bomber’s game plan and began his assault on the American boxer from the first gong itself.

The British boxer came in with an intent: he ended up executing his game plans efficiently. Before Fury, no one ever approached Wilder with an offensive style of fighting. And citing Fury’s approach, Wilder predominantly stayed on the back foot that night and he faced the wrath of ‘The Gypsy King’s power.

However, ‘The Bronze Bomber’ has now taken that loss on his chin and has moved ahead to prepare himself for a trilogy against his foe. He will contend with Fury on July 24 and will look to reclaim his titles by settling his scores with Fury.

Ever since that dreadful loss, the only fight Wilder has asked for is a rematch with ‘The Gypsy King’. That said, he’s now finally aligned to take up the ring space against his rival, and for that, Wilder won’t look to leave any stones unturned in his preparations.
