Triller Boss Denies Not Paying Mike Tyson for His Fight Against Roy Jones Jr., Reveals Full Purse

In November 2020, Mike Tyson fought Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition fight. Triller broadcasted this fight, and it turned out to be a tremendous success for both the fighters as well as for Triller. Also, this was Triller’s debut event in the boxing world, and they couldn’t have asked for anyone else than Tyson being their first prime fighter of the event. But since then, Tyson decided not to work with the firm again and this left the organization in jeopardy.

Tyson’s team even claimed that he didn’t receive the full payments for his fight against Roy Jones Jr. That said, Tyson’s team reached out to Triller boss, Ryan Kavanaugh, to settle the pending suit. But in return, Kavanaugh issued a letter to Tyson’s team, wherein he denied not paying Tyson for his fight. And he even revealed the actual payment amounts made.

Mike Coppinger shared the entire letter drafted by Ryan Kavanaugh to Tyson’s team. He took the same to his official Twitter handle.

Kavanaugh revealed Triller spent over $30 million for Tyson‘s fight against Roy Jones Jr. He even put some spotlight on Tyson’s earning and wrote in that letter, “our understanding is that you personally should have walked away with at least $15 million, if not more.”

The Triller boss even unveiled that he and his team were ecstatic to work with Tyson for his upcoming boxing exhibitions as well.

Will Mike Tyson work with Triller ever again?

Mike Tyson’s fight against Jones Jr. amassed extensive eyeballs, and it generated a massive 1.6 million-plus PPV buys. And Triller did everything in their favor to stage this fight in the most perfect setting.
