Britney Spears urged fans not to be ‘rude’ if they see her out and about as she enjoys her holiday in Maui.

The singer and her boyfriend Sam Asghari jetted off for an idyllic getaway to Hawaii after the star issued a powerful statement in court, requesting an end to the conservatorship she has been under for 13 years.

Britney, 39, shockingly claimed that under the conservatorship, she cannot get permission to remove her IUD so she can have children with Sam, 27, as she spoke out for the first time in an explosive testimony.

Despite being whisked away from it all it seems she still can’t get any peace as fans continue to approach her during her downtime. She also accused paps of ‘messing with my pics’ and ‘editing them to the point where it’s embarrassing’.

In a video shared on her Instagram page, Britney begged her supporters to give her space.

To the tune of F**k You by Lily Allen, she said: ‘Dos and dont’s, if you are a pap, fan or anyone in my space. Don’t talk to me while I’m texting. It’s rude.

‘This is my body!!! So stop messing with my pics and editing them to the point where it’s embarassing!!!!’

Adding a clip of fans at a Pride parade dancing to Oops! I Did It Again she added: ‘This is what fans & paps should be doing instead!!!’.

In the caption she wrote: ‘So being here in Maui is pretty crazy now … the paps know where I am and it’s really not fun !!!! It’s pretty hard going anywhere cause these silly faces keep popping up to take my picture 📸🙄 … but not only do they take my picture … they distort my body and mess with the image and it’s embarrassing 😬😳🙃 !!!!!

‘I know my body is not perfect but I definitely do NOT look like how they portray me. It’s rude and it’s mean so paps kindly F**K YOU AND F**K OFF.’

The Womaniser singer promised there is ‘more to come’ as she shared pictures and video of her and Sam on holiday.

‘I’m driving the cheapest car known to mankind but it’s pretty fun … I like the sound of the ocean at night and I like hearing people laughing from my balcony … there’s a togetherness here and it’s endless !!! Here’s me playing in the dirt and making angels in the sand in the ocean 🌊🏝🐚 !!!!

‘More to come … more to share … more to dream … more to hope for … and many more to pray for !!!! GOD BLESS YOU ALL !!!! Here’s to Maui.’

The star has had an outpouring of support from celebrities including Mariah Carey, Halsey and most recently, Christina Aguilera.

What is a conservatorship?

A conservatorship is a legal concept in the United States that places someone under the legal protection of an appointed adult.

A guardian or a protector is appointed by a judge to manage different aspects of someone’s life, from their financial affairs to their daily life.

One is usually appointed a conservator if they are suffering from physical or mental issues or declining with age.

A planned conservatorship lasts as long as it is needed, and ends when a conservatee is considered no longer in need of a conservator, for example, if a person is unable to care for their self because of a medical condition, the conservatorship will end when he is treated or recovers sufficiently to care for himself again.

If a conservatorship is unplanned, a court will also assign a caseworker for the conservatee.

The caseworker will remain in contact with the conservator and make certain that the transition goes well, regularly checking on the status of all involved.

Christina tweeted: ‘It is unacceptable that any woman, or human, wanting to be in control of their own destiny might not be allowed to live life as they wish.

‘To be silenced, ignored, bullied or denied support by those “close” to you is the most depleting, devastating and demeaning thing imaginable. The harmful mental and emotional damage this can take on a human spirit is nothing to be taken lightly.’

The star added: ‘To a woman who has worked under conditions and pressure unimaginable to most, I promise you she deserves all of the freedom possible to live her happiest life. My heart goes out to Britney. She deserves all the TRUE love and support in the world.’
