Love Island 2021: Hugh Hammond gets pied off by Sharon Gaffka

Things have gone from Love Island to Lukewarm Island for Sharon Gaffka who pies off Hugo Hammond in toe-curling scenes to air tonight.

The islanders have been coupled up for the past three days but as far as viewers are concerned, there seems to be a lack of sparks/fanny flutters in the villa.

At least it’s the case for Sharon as she takes Hugo for a chat to clear the air – she’s just not that into him (and vice versa).

Speaking on the day beds, she tells him: ‘I knew from the word go that I wasn’t your type and that’s perfectly fine. What annoyed me is I feel like you avoid me and you don’t talk to me.’

Hugo replies: ‘I’m not being funny but there hasn’t really been the time.

‘I’m definitely sorry for making you feel that I was giving you the cold shoulder. I definitely wasn’t avoiding you and I don’t want you to feel like that.’

The pair might not be single pringles for long as there could be another love interest on the horizon – and which of the other ladies has caught Hugo’s eye?

If it’s new girl Chloe Burrows then Sharon is in trouble, because Chloe is set to pick who she wants to couple up with tonight and if it’s Hugo, Sharon will be single – meaning she is at risk of being eliminated from the show.

We already know that someone is set to make an early exit after less than a week…who will it be?

Love Island airs weekdays at 9pm on ITV2.
