Model Ashley Morgan Smithline has become the fourth accuser to file a lawsuit against Marilyn Manson, for claims including sexual assault and battery,
Smithline accused Manson, whose real name is Brian Warner, of sexual assault, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, human trafficking and unlawful imprisonment among other allegations.
She is the fourth woman to sue Manson following similar allegations from Game of Thrones actress Esme Bianco, Manson’s former personal assistant Ashley Walters and another woman who chose to remain anonymous.
Smithline’s lawsuit echoes the claims she previously made about the rocker in an interview with People, alleging that Manson first contacted her in 2010 about casting her in a film.
The suit claims that Manson told Smithline she was ‘the perfect girl for him’ and asked her to send photos of herself, before flying her to Los Angeles later in the year with the incentive of casting her in a movie, before asking her to move in with him.
She alleges that by enticing her to move to LA from Bangkok where she had been modelling at the time, he violated the Trafficking Victims Protection Act, claiming in the suit: ‘Mr. Warner knew these offers to be fraudulent.

‘No effort was made to complete production of the film project and to date nothing from that project has been published. Mr. Warner merely used the film project as a pretense to lure Ms. Smithline to the United States.’
Smithline alleges that their relationship quickly changed and that while their sexual relationship had initially been consensual, she alleges that she later woke up to find her wrists and ankles bound and Manson was engaging in sexual activity with her.
When she told him to stop, she says he told her to ‘shut the f**k up and be quiet,’ alleging that he bruised her ribs in the incident and caused injury to her genitalia.
Smithline claimed in her interview with People that Manson told her: ‘you can’t rape someone that you’re in love with,’ and that he placed a pillow over her head after she said ‘no’ several times.

The suit then claims he used a knife to cut her shoulder and inner arm, drawing blood and leaving scars on her body, including carving the initials ‘MM’ into her thigh.
She alleges in the suit: ‘The abuse escalated into Mr. Warner shaking Ms. Smithline and strangling her by putting his hand in her mouth. On yet another occasion, Mr. Warner threw a Nazi knife at Ms. Smithline, only barely missing her face. Mr. Warner also burned Ms. Smithline.’
A rep for Manson denied the claims, telling Rolling Stone: ‘We strongly deny Ms. Smithline’s claims. There are so many falsehoods within her claims that we wouldn’t know where to begin to answer them.

‘This relationship, to the limited extent it was a relationship, lasted less than a week in 2010. Manson hasn’t seen Ms. Smithline since then.’
