Nick Grimshaw has reportedly quit BBC Radio 1 after 14 years.

The 36-year-old is expected to announce his departure during his Drivetime show today, according to the Mirror.

The publication reports that Jordan North and Vick Hope will be replacing Grimmy on the show, after the presenter informed the BBC of his decision several weeks ago.

A source said: ‘Grimmy has loved every minute and done everything he ever dreamed of on Radio 1. It has been a really hard decision but he is looking forward to the next chapter in his life.’

Nick first joined Radio 1 back in 2007 and took over the Breakfast Show in 2012 from Chris Moyles.

He stepped down from the early mornings in 2018 to move to an afternoon slot, with Greg James taking over as breakfast host.
