“Like Your Moves”: Novak Djokovic and Coco Gauff Share “Twinning” Moment at Wimbledon Championships 2021

Serbian World No.1 Novak Djokovic, hands down, has an incomparable reach on the tennis court. That is also how he obtained ‘spider’ as his nickname. However, now, there is someone who matches his skill set, and that someone is no other than the American teenager star Coco Gauff.

Presently, they both are contesting at Wimbledon Championships 2021 in London, looking for glory. While Djokovic is through to the third round, Gauff has cleared her opening round test so far.

But what’s interesting is that the duo recently got into a fascinating conversation about their flexibility. Moreover, the similarity between the two is almost identical.

Novak Djokovic and Coco Gauff talk about their spider-like attributes

Tennis is a sport that requires sharp physical strength along with mental prowess. And there is no doubt that both Djokovic and Gauff excel in those categories.

Precisely, during his second-round match against Kevin Anderson, the Serbian ace returned an unreturnable shot. For this, he pulled a full-wide leg stretch without dropping his balance.

It does seem easy while he makes his swift moves around the grass; however, later on, the picture tells a different story.

Seemingly, the 19-time Grand Slam champion had only found himself in such poses until now. But coincidently, the 17-year-old Gauff pulled off a similar return during her match against Francesca Jones, earning the attention of Djokovic.

“I like your moves Coco,” he replied on her picture with spider, web, and eyes with hearts emoticons.

Since the ATP World No.1 has appreciated, it is only natural for the American teenager to respond. And so, Coco wrote back, “Haha, I learned it from the best,” with a wink.

Afterwards, the 2019 Wimbledon last 16 contestant Gauff shared both their images and hashtagged them as twinning. Furthermore, fans expect many more such spectacles to come from both of them ahead in the tournament.

Who will Djokovic and Gauff face next at Wimbledon?
