Love or Lie Island 2021: Has Kaz jeopardised her romance with Toby already? Body language expert’s fears for villa’s strongest couple
Love Island’s Kaz Kamwi has only just been on her first date with Toby Aromolaran, but it looks like they could already be headed for the friendzone.
After Shannon Singh became the first islander to be brutally dumped from the villa, the couple headed out for some alone time where they popped some fizz and opened up about their type on paper.
During their one on one, footballer Toby revealed he’s never had a girlfriend before.
Moments later, Kaz called Toby out for inviting her to come and watch one of his games ‘if you want’, with the fashion influencer saying to ‘never’ say ‘if you want’.
Body language Judi James is worried that Kaz’s ‘over-confidence’ might spell trouble for their blossoming relationship and reckons they could soon face disaster.
‘I think that she’s possibly risking the relationship,’ she exclusively told Metro.co.uk. ‘I love Kaz, I think she’s one of the most likeable characters in there. I want to see her increasing in confidence because pairing off with Toby and them building a relationship is showing a different Kaz.

‘She was sitting there in the hut and pit bearing, that’s a sign of more confidence to do that gesture. But I think she has got a little over confident with him. When she heard him say on the date, I’ve never had a relationship before, she hacked in. The finger came out.
‘A lot of people get confused by the subtleties of certain words that you use and certain terms.’

Despite the banter, Judi is concerned that Kaz’s reaction could have made Toby nervous.
‘There’s confidence and there’s almost that straight to over-confidence where you’re picking on the other person a little bit too much,’ she said.

‘I have in the back of my mind that that’s going to go into friendzone quite quickly if she’s not careful. And I do not want to see Kaz getting her heartbroken in this one.’
Will these two survive the end of the week? Only time will tell…
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
