Primark is launching a new website where customers can check if items are in stores

PRIMARK is FINALLY launching a new website that will let shoppers see what’s in stores.

It will also let customers know which stores are stocking their top picks so they know where to find them.

Unfortunately, it has no plans to launch a delivery service, so shoppers won’t be able to order goods online.

It’s welcome news for shoppers who were unable to browse product for much of last year due to the coronavirus lockdowns that forced non-essential retailers to close.

While many brands relied on online sales to keep them afloat, Primark held onto stock to sell for when stores reopened, even if it was out of season or last year’s lines.

It comes as the bargain brand today reported its revenue surged to £1.6billion between October and December 2020, despite being closed for much of it.

Primark put its success down to seven new store openings and its 24 hour opening hours which it ran for a limited time ahead of Christmas.
