The Rocket Mortgage Classic has swiftly gained a massive reputation on the tour. The tournament is hosted at Detroit Golf Club and sees a lot of fans attending annually. Bryson DeChambeau gave them their money’s worth with an emphatic victory in 2020. 

The Rocket Mortage Classic awarded a total prize pool of $7,500,000 in 2020. It was just the second edition of the tournament and it already matched up with other prominent tour events. 

As for 2021, the prize pool will remain the same. The total prize money awarded this year at the Detroit Golf Club will be $7.5M. 

Winner’s payout at 2021 Rocket Mortgage Classic

The champion of the Rocket Mortgage Classic will take home the highest share of the prize money at Detroit Golf Club. To be precise, the winner will be awarded an 18% stake from the $7.5 million prize pool.

The champion’s payout at the 2021 Rocket Mortgage Classic will be $1,350,000. Along with this, the winner will also get 500 FedExCup points and 46 Official World Golf Ranking points.

DeChambeau received the exact accolades after winning the tournament last year. While the champion will earn a seven-figure payout, the rest of the field will see their prize money decrease with respect to their position on the leaderboard.
