Love Island 2021 star Jake Cornish left Liberty Poole – and viewers at home – absolutely perplexed when he revealed his favourite sex position during a very steamy chat.
On last night’s episode of the ITV2 reality show, Jake, 24, and Liberty, 21, were having an intimate moment on the outdoor sofabeds when talk inevitably turned to their favourite positions in bed.
Having re-enacted a few positions during a previous challenge with their fellow islanders, Jake remarked to Liberty: ‘Well you don’t hold back mind do you on the sex positions.’
Liberty revealed to Jake, who she’s been partnered up with since day one, that her favourite position is ‘doggy’, to which he cheekily replied: ‘I’ll know that for the next challenge then.’
When Liberty asked Jake what his favourite was, he told her that it was ‘scissors’, leaving her extremely baffled.
After expressing her confusion, Jake tried to explain how it works, using his fingers to imitate scissors and lifting up his legs.

However, his feeble demonstration fell flat, as Liberty admitted: ‘I can’t lie, I’ve never done that one before.’
‘Well there’s a first for everything you know!’ he responded, as the pair of them burst into laughter.
During their chat on the sunbeds, Jake and Liberty ended up sharing a smooch, which was spotted by the other contestants.
Jake appeared besotted with Liberty while looking back on the moment, telling the camera that he gets ‘drawn in’ by Liberty’s eyes.

‘Especially from being a few inches apart and she’s just staring at your eyes. Jesus Christ – if looks could kill. Bloody hell. In a nice way. Phwoar!’ he said.
Nonetheless, their time in paradise might be short-lived, as the next day Jake confessed to Hugo Hammond that his feelings for Liberty might not be as strong as they seem.
What’s more, Jake felt it was ok to break wind straight after his kiss with Liberty – which can’t be a good sign!
Earlier this week, Love Island released a statement urging viewers to be kind online as Chloe Burrows received a torrent of abuse and death threats.

‘Last night’s episode created strong reactions but some viewers’ posts were wholly unacceptable. We take these matters extremely seriously and will support cast members and their families in reporting such posts.’
They added: ‘We would once again urge all our viewers to think before posting, and remember that our Islanders are people with feelings.’
Love Island returns tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
