Ed Sheeran is set to join his friend Anne-Marie on the sofa for a special new episode of Celebrity Gogglebox.
The musician will appear on an upcoming instalment of the show, making a return to the programme after first appearing with Example and Big Narstie back in 2017.
Anne-Marie, who previously collaborated with Ed on her track 2002, said she convinced him to join her after missing his company during lockdown.
‘I’ve asked one of my best friends, Ed Sheeran, to join me on Gogglebox,’ she told The Sun on Sunday.
‘I haven’t seen him in real life for so, so long and when we used to hang out, we would always watch lots of TV. So it will be like old times. I can’t wait.’
Anne-Marie is no stranger to the Channel 4 show, having recently appeared alongside her The Voice co-star Sir Tom Jones.

Ed and Anne-Marie will join the likes of Lorraine Kelly, Nick Grimshaw and Jonathan Ross in appearing on the show, which remains one of the most popular on telly.
The Bafta-winning series frequently pulls in millions of viewers, having hit a record 6.5 million overnight viewers.
Nick Grimshaw, Denise van Outen, Mo Gilligan, Shaun Ryder and Gyles Brandreth are also series regulars of the celebrity edition of the programme.
The news comes during a been a busy time for Ed, having landed his 10th number on with Bad Habits – and still finding time to enjoy an England victory at Wembley stadium alongside David Beckham.
More: Ed Sheeran
He’d previously been taking a break from music after welcoming daughter Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran in the summer last year.
Ed also recently revealed that he had to be talked out of some pretty major life decisions in that time – including buying uninhabited islands and potentially moving to Ghana for three years.
Gogglebox is available to stream on All4.
