Love Island 2021: Shannon Singh ‘not rooting’ for Chloe Burrows after brutal dumping as she accuses her of game playing

Love Island’s first dumped islander Shannon Singh said there is no love lost between her and Chloe Burrows after her shock exit this week after just 48 hours on the show.

Chloe’s arrival in the villa put a spanner in the works as she decided to couple up with Aaron Francis. As he was with Shannon at the time she was ultimately left single and received a text moments later telling her her time on the programme was up.

On Sunday night’s episode of Aftersun she reflected on the bombshell moment in a special video filmed shortly after her exit – and made it clear she wasn’t happy with Chloe’s move.

Shannon said: ‘I’m a bit mortified. I didn’t gel with anyone. Chloe’s came in and she’s got a job to do.

‘Saying goodbye was really sad even though it’s been two days. It’s so intense that you do gel with people really quick.’

The former islander went on: ‘I actually forgot you got dumped, so I got winded when I saw the text. I have no ill will against Chloe.

‘I wish her the best but I’m not rooting for her!’

The fact there was no love lost was reiterated when host Laura Whitmore asked her to spill on which islanders she thought were playing a game in the villa.

She revealed: ‘I mean, should I spill the tea. It’s really hard, it was very short lived!

‘Libby is the best human ever, Kaz is just energy.

‘I think some people are playing up to the cameras. I do think Chloe’s playing tactics. But it is a game show so it’s to be expected.’

The episode saw new bombshell Rachel Finni have to pick who to couple up with between Brad McClelland and Chuggs Wallis who spent the entire episode grafting hard.

When the islanders gathered round the firepit ready to hear who she had chosen, the episode – frustratingly! – came to an end, leaving viewers wanting more yet again.

Love Island continues Monday at 9pm on ITV2.
