Phoenix Suns vs Milwaukee Bucks NBA Finals 2021: Complete Schedule, Dates, Times and More

This season’s NBA Finals contenders are here to create history. Neither the Milwaukee Bucks nor the Phoenix Suns have won a championship in over 50 years. In fact, the Suns haven’t ever won a title and last appeared in the NBA Finals back in 1993.

On the other hand, the Bucks go further back. They won their first title in 1971, appeared again in 1974, and haven’t punched that ticket since then.

So, it will be interesting to see who writes their franchise legacy once again. Here’s what you need to know about the 2020-21 NBA Finals.

When and Where will the NBA Finals take place?

The Milwaukee Bucks vs Phoenix Suns NBA Finals Game 1 will start on July 6 at 9 PM EST. The first two games are scheduled to take place in Phoenix, while Game 3 and 4 will be played in Milwaukee.

If it leads to Game 5, the Suns will host the Bucks in Phoenix. And if it comes to Game 6, Milwaukee will be the one hosting. However, if the series is stretched to a Game 7, the Suns are the ones with a better regular-season record and can play the game at home.

As the East’s No. 2 meets the West’s No. 2 in the war to win the NBA title, viewers can catch all games live at ABC. Here is the complete schedule.

Milwaukee Bucks vs Phoenix Suns: History

On their way to the Finals, the Suns eliminated the best of the best including the reigning champions, the Denver Nuggets, and then the LA Clippers.

For the Bucks, they had to get past some big barriers themselves – from the Miami Heat to the Brooklyn Nets and then the Atlanta Hawks.

However, when it comes to facing each other, the Suns have triumphed. The two teams came face to face twice in the regular season and the Suns won each by just one point. And who can forget the thrilling 128-127 game in April?

This means that this series is likely to go neck-to-neck. But the Bucks will need Giannis Antetokounmpo back if they want to meet the Suns at the level of greatness they’ve shown so far. Which team do you think has a win written for themselves in Game 1?
