There’s trouble in paradise in the first look at Monday night’s episode of Love Island, as Rachel Finni is consoled by the girls while Toby Armolaran assesses how he feels about Kaz Kamwi.

Ahead of the latest instalment of the ITV2 dating competition, Rachel was faced with a difficult choice – to couple up with either Brad McClelland or Chuggs Wallis after knowing them both for just one day.

Sunday’s episode ended on a massive cliffhanger, with viewers desperate to find out who she chose out of the pair.

Despite previously saying that she would know what to do in the moment, in a sneak peek at the new episode, it’s apparent that Rachel is distressed about having to send one of the guys packing.

After announcing her decision, Rachel is comforted by the girls, with one telling her: ‘You don’t make the rules,’ and another saying: ‘You made the decision that you had to make.’

As for who stays or who goes – we’ll just have to wait for the episode to air this evening to find out!

Elsewhere in the villa, things are possibly progressing between Toby and Kaz, after Toby was initially reluctant to be overly affectionate with Kaz.

After having a chat with the boys, Kaz and Toby have a heart-to-heart on the balcony, with Toby admitting to her that he’s been ‘holding back’, as he hasn’t been ‘sure’ about how he feels.

He leaves Kaz elated as he tells her that he’s ‘jumping head first’ rather than staying on the edge, with the pair sharing an affectionate kiss.

Tonight marks a big occasion in the villa – the first time this series that the Hideaway has been available for a couple to enjoy some private time away from the rest of the group.

First up is Jake Cornish and Liberty Poole, with Jake ripping off his T-shirt and jumping into the pool with excitement over the prospect of a night alone with Liberty.

The pair receive a big send-off from the other islanders, with Liberty dressed in black lingerie as she and Jake in some red shorts as they leave for some quality time alone.

They’re all smiles when they come back to the main bedroom in the morning, with Jake rating their night together an eight out of 10.

After previously admitting that his head could be turned if someone else entered the villa who he was attracted to, could Jake be leading Liberty on?

Love Island returns tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and is available to watch on the ITV Hub.
