Peter Andre has revealed that he’s banned his 14-year-old daughter Princess from watching Love Island – although he’s admitted that he might rethink his strict rule.
The current series of Love Island has only been going a week, with tonight’s episode promising to deliver drama as Hugo Hammond breaks down in tears amid a heated row with Sharon Gaffka.
While people of all ages across the UK tune in to watch the ITV2 show every night, Peter, 48, seems to be of the opinion that Princess is still a bit too young.
Peter, who met ex-wife Katie Price on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2004, said that he’s told his children that they are ‘not going on’ Love Island in future.
‘I don’t allow Princess to watch the show, but she’s just turned 14 so maybe I’ll change my mind,’ he added.
While Love Island might be out of the question for his children, Peter said that he thinks his 16-year-old son Junior ‘will go on I’m A Celebrity at some point’.

‘And I get that because he and Princess are the only children to ever have been born as a result of the jungle,’ he told Woman, according to The Sun.
A week ago, the Mysterious Girl singer shared a sweet tribute to Princess to mark her birthday, writing in a social media post that she is ‘growing up far too fast for my liking’.
‘BUT, you are the best. You really are,’ he wrote.
‘Always making me laugh and a heart of gold. Love you so much. Happy 14th birthday beautiful @officialprincess_andre.’
Peter shares Princess and Junior with Katie and has two children with Emily MacDonagh, who he married in 2015.
Ahead of tonight’s Love Island, a sneak peek revealed what Hugo said that made Sharon and fellow islander Faye extremely upset.
During a couples’ challenge, Hugo was asked what his biggest turn-offs were, to which he replied: ‘Fake, yeah. Personality and looks.’
He added that his type was, ‘Leggy blonde. Not fake,’ with several contestants taking offense to his emphasis on the word ‘fake’.

‘That word keeps getting thrown around, doesn’t it?’ Faye states angrily.
‘I think I was just annoyed as a mate,’ Sharon adds. ‘I respect him enough to say to him, what you’re saying is upsetting me.’
Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and is available to watch on ITV Hub.
