Laura Whitmore, Jack Whitehall, Jessie J and Benedict Cumberbatch are just some of the stars who have braved the rain to descend on Wimbledon.

The eighth day of the event was a star-studded affair, with Love Island host Laura looking stunning.

While she didn’t manage to bring the Majorca sunshine back with her, the new mum certainly brightened up the event with her floral dress.

Comic Jack was also spotted suiting up for the occasion, looking suave as he accompanied his mum, Hilary Gish.

Popstar Jessie rocked a bold look, meanwhile, donning a black and white suit and huge sunnies as she enjoyed the event, while Olly Murs and his girlfriend Amelia Tank looked to be having a blast.

Sherlock actor Benedict also looked smart as he rocked a sky blue suit and matching mask.

They’re not the only stars to have enjoyed the tennis this year, with the nation’s favourite PE teacher, Joe Wicks, invited to watch the action from the royal box. He was also seen chatting away to Kate Middleton.

Meanwhile, love has been in the air at the event, with Bridgerton actress Phoebe Dynevor and her beau, Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson, unable to keep their eyes off each other during one match.

The couple, haven’t yet spoken out about their romance, but cosied up in their seats, with Pete planting a kiss on Phoebe’s forehead.

Elsewhere, Maya Jama confirmed her relationship with Ben Simmons, with the pair sharing a kiss.

While plenty of celebs have been enjoying Wimbledon, with it being announced that the final will go ahead with full capacity, Loose Women panellist Denise Welch was left unimpressed.

The TV presenter has learned that she’s unable to see her father, who has been in hospital for 14 weeks, despite her receiving both doses of the Covid-19 vaccination.

However, she’s even more irked after it was confirmed that the Wimbledon finals will welcome guests at full capacity later this month.

Speaking on Tuesday’s Loose Women, Denise said: ‘I come to the show today and only heard 10 minutes before we came on air that my dear dad, who is in his 14th week in hospital, is now in a sort of community hospital which is much smaller and lovely and I feel very safe with him there.

‘We’ve just heard that the NHS Trust in the north east have stopped visiting again.’

She added: ‘I am at the point now where I think, what does my double jab mean? What does it mean if I am double jabbed and my dad is double jabbed?’

Janet Street-Porter weighed in: ‘I would agree with Denise that it’s been announced that the Wimbledon final’s going to be full capacity before July 19. There is a double standard at work here.’

Denise supported her and agreed: ‘Completely.’
