Manny Pacquiao Resumes Training Camp at Wild Card Boxing Gym: “Excited to Be Back”

Manny Pacquiao is all set to enter the boxing ring after a long in-ring hiatus. The boxing legend will confront the sturdy welterweight sensation, Errol Spence Jr, in a mammoth title fight. This contest has already turned into a talk of the town and it has sent shock waves across the fight world.

The Filippino Senator didn’t compete for the whole of 2020. And for his return fight, he wanted a noteworthy opponent of his level. Citing that, his team rushed to book a 12-round war with Errol Spence Jr., and now the fight is finally on for August 21.

Pacquiao knows the importance this fight holds, and accordingly, he’s putting in exemplary efforts in his training sessions and more. In fact, he’s roped in the bigwig coach, Freddie Roach, for this fight and he’s back at the Wild Card Boxing Gym.

‘Pacman’ himself shared this news on his official Instagram handle. “Excited to be back at Wild Card Gym with coach Freddie!” he wrote.

Freddie Roach has trained ‘Pacman’ a number of times. The former was in Pacquiao’s corner for the biggest fight of his life against Floyd Mayweather. The duo has seen vast success together and the Filipino boxing legend felt that this might be the ideal time to collaborate with Roach again.

The boxing veteran has definitely developed ring rust and Roach will certainly help him get a hang of the ring again.
