Fans Go Wild as Tegan Nox Makes Emphatic WWE Return At NXT: The Great American Bash 2021

After being sidelined for more than a year, Tegan Nox returned to NXT. The return of Tegan Nox happened in between the NXT Women’s tag team title match at NXT Great American Bash where Io Shirai and Zoey Stark teamed up to lock horns against Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell. Tegan’s return left the fans and the NXT Superstars, noticeably Candice LeRae, shell-shocked.

Tegan Nox returns and resumes her rivalry with Candice LeRae

As the match approached its climax, a charging logo appeared as the lights of the whole arena went off. The whole arena went berserk when they saw Tegan Nox on the entrance stage, looking straight at LeRae. LeRae was shellshocked to see her old nemesis back, which created a distraction. Io Shirai and Zoe Stark fully used the distraction as the duo clinched the NXT Women’s Tag Team Title by defeating LeRae and Hartwell.

Tegan Nox was not done yet as she set her eyes on LeRae and walked down to the ring. She attacked LeRae, sending out a signal to Candice and the WWE universe that she will settle the scores in the coming weeks. The fact that LeRae was not expecting Nox’s return was visible from her expressions. As things stand, NXT fans can expect the rivalry between Candice and Tegan to continue. This angle will also give enough time for Indi Hartwell to deal with Dexter Lumis.

It’s been over one year since Tegan Nox appeared on NXT, and her return has created a huge buzz among the fans. But, unfortunately, Tegan Nox had to take a long hiatus as she suffered an ACL injury in September 2020 after Candice LeRae attacked her. 

Tegan Nox, one of the most prominent NXT Superstars, has had many injury issues in the past. These injuries created an immense burden in her career as she couldn’t experience exponential growth in NXT.
