Brian Austin Green has denied his ex-wife Megan Fox has been sending ‘petty digs’ his way, as he addressed their relationship post split.
The stars announced last May that they were separating after 10 years of marriage, with Megan, 35, soon moving on with Machine Gun Kelly.
Brian, 47, began dating dancer Sharna Burgess late last year, and some people believed Megan was throwing shade at the couple with a comment she left on a loved-up picture this week.
Brian posted a picture of himself kissing the Dancing With The Stars pro and wrote: ‘It’s been a really long time since I’ve been with someone I can truly share life with’, with Sharna, 36, replying: ‘There’s no one else I could ever imagine sharing it with. I love you.’
Megan commented: ‘Grateful for Sharna’, followed by a purple heart, but many doubted her sincerity, particularly when the comment appeared to be deleted (it has been reinstated since).
Beverly Hills, 90210 star Brian addressed the situation on his Instagram stories, and said that he and his ex-wife ‘get along great’.
He wrote: ‘For people that need or want clarification, Megan and I get along great. Neither of us are sending petty digs to each other.
‘We both work really hard to get along and coparent well for our kids. Now, stay safe and spread kindness and love.’
The exes share three sons, Noah, eight, Bodhi, seven, and Journey, four, and Brian sought joint legal and physical custody in their divorce.
While the pair are now getting along, they have aired their clashes on social media in the past, notably when Megan called out her ex-husband for posting a picture of their son Journey on Halloween to Instagram.
The Jennifer’s Body star commented on the post: ‘Why does Journey have to be in this picture? It’s not hard to crop them out. Or choose photos that they aren’t in. I had a great halloween with them yesterday, and yet notice how absent they are from my social media. I know you love your kids. But I don’t know why you can’t stop using them to posture via Instagram.

‘You’re so intoxicated with feeding the pervasive narrative that I’m an absent mother, and you are the perennial, eternally dedicated dad of the year. You have them half of the time. Congratulations you truly are a remarkable human!
‘Why do you need the internet to echo back to you what should be inexhaustibly evident in the way your children love you?’
Megan has now been with her boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly, real name Colson Baker, for a year, having met him on the set of the movie Midnight In The Switchgrass.
While the news of her split from Brian came out around the same time she was spotted with the 31-year-old, in a new interview, the actress insisted that she hadn’t met him before she filed for divorce from Brian, and said their relationship had ‘nothing to do with it’.

And things are going strong, as Machine Gun Kelly gushed about his girlfriend when crashing the photoshoot for her InStyle profile.
He said of the star: ‘When it’s summer, it’s the hottest summer. When it’s winter, it’s the most amazing chill. In the fall and spring, it’s a beautiful transition. She is unlike any person I have ever met in my life.
‘I just want people to understand this is real. I don’t think people get the opportunity to believe in real, great love, and that’s what we have together.’
