Loki episode 5: From Thanos Copter to Frog Thor, did you spot all the Easter Eggs?

Warning: spoilers ahead for episode 5 of Loki.
As with all Marvel series, Loki is chock-a-block with Easter Eggs on Disney Plus, referencing moments in the previous films as well as key elements from the comics.
However, episode five delivered one of the most Easter Egg-heavy sequences ever in the MCU, after Loki (Tom Hiddleston) is greeted in The Void by Classic Loki (Richard E Grant), Kid Loki (Jack Veal), Boastful Loki (DeObia Oparei) and Alligator Loki.
After he is pruned by Ravonna Renslayer (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) at the TVA (Time Variance Authority), Loki discovers that everything that is eliminated by the organisation isn’t destroyed, but instead sent to a wasteland at the end of time.
It’s here that Loki meets several other versions of himself, in addition to coming across artefacts including the Thanos Copter, Roxxiwine and even a frog version of Thor.
Did you catch all of the Easter Eggs?
Thanos Copter
If you thought you were seeing things when you spotted a yellow copter with ‘THANOS’ written on the side, don’t worry – you weren’t.
The copter was featured in a 1979 Marvel comic, before being featured in subsequent issues as a running joke, with Thanos shown jetting around in the airborne vehicle.
Frog Thor
After Loki is pruned, he finds himself transported to The Void, where he meets different versions of himself, including Kid Loki, Classic Loki, Boastful Loki and even Alligator Loki.
The God of Mischief isn’t the only MCU character who has an animal version of themselves in a different timeline, as Frog Thor – aka ‘Throg’ – is depicted stuck in a jar, striving to reach his hammer, Mjolnir.
Qeng Enterprises
While a tower that looks like Stark Tower can be seen in The Void, it’s actually Qeng Tower, as in the Marvel comics, Tony Stark sells the old Avengers tower to Qeng Enterprises.
Funnily enough, Qeng Enterprises was a front for Kang the Conqueror, who is set to appear in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum Mania and is suspected as being the man behind the curtain of the TVA in Loki.
Yellowjacket’s helmet
In the 2015 Ant-Man film, it’s thought that Darren Cross, aka Yellowjacket (Corey Stoll), seemingly meets his end when he is shrunk to a subatomic size.
However, in Loki, an oversized version of his helmet can be seen in The Void – meaning that his story might have ended in a different, unknown way.
Roxxiwine
When Loki first met Sylvie, he found her hiding out at Roxxcart Mall during a future apocalypse.
Roxxiwine, the wine that the variant Lokis crack out after saving the titular character from the smoke monster Alioth, also came from the same supermarket.
Polybius
The latest episode of Loki feeds into a fascinating legend about an arcade machine called Polybius, which is shown behind Classic Loki in the Lokis’ lair.
According to urban legend, the 1980s game was supposedly so addictive that it would cause fights to break out, with men in black visiting the machines to check in on the impact the game was having on players.

The Living Tribunal
There was a lot for Loki viewers to take in when the God of Mischief ventured to The Void, with collapsed buildings and relics left right and centre.
One of these artefacts was the head of a statue of The Living Tribunal, a cosmic being who, in the Marvel comics, keeps a close eye on the multiverse.
Therefore, the Living Tribunal’s severed head could be a clue that the TVA is trying to hide the existence of a multiverse with their protection of the sacred timeline.
Loki returns on Wednesday and is available to watch on Disney Plus.
