There is a Love Is Blind reunion series on the way and we’ve already got our wine in hand.

The Netflix dating show with a difference is back, with bosses giving us another look at where the season one couples are now.

In case you forgot, the premise of the programme saw singletons walk into pods, fall in love with and get engaged to a co-star, without ever laying eyes on them

Cameras then followed every second of their journey from their first meeting and couple holiday, and we watched along as they moved in together and eventually walked up the aisle – before some legged it in the most dramatic fashion.

Yes, we’re looking at you, Giannina Gibelli.

It has how been confirmed that a three-part reunion series will be hitting the streaming service this month, so we can find out exactly what went down, and which couples are still together.

A tweet from the Netflix Queue Twitter account shared the first poster of the special, with the message: ‘#LoveIsBlind – Where Are They Now?

‘They’re reuniting for a new three-episode series called After That Altar. Premieres July 28.’

Predictably fans went wild for the news, with one penning: ‘This looks great LMAO we will be streaming! #LoveIsBlind.’

‘Didn’t know I needed this reunion special but I do. Can’t wait,’ a follower agreed.

While many, many more took the opportunity to ask just where season two was.

Valid questions.

The first season introduced us to pure chaos, with Amber Pike, Matthew Barnett, Lauren Speed and Jessica Batten’s dog hooking us in for the very first episode.

Nick Lachey and wife Vanessa hosted the series, and popped up sporadically to guide the stars through the process, while also dropping some words of wisdom.

While we’re all still waiting for any hint of a new series, producer Chris Coelen spilled the tea on what we can expect from new cast members.

‘I don’t know that there are big changes that we would want to do in a subsequent season,’ he told Metro.co.uk when asked about what he wants to switch up for the next series.

‘I hope we’re just able to see people’s real stories which is always the most unpredictable.’

Chris also insisted that there would be no ‘gotcha moments’ or tropes that similar dating programmes seem to rely on.

‘I think one of the one of the nice things about the show is it does allow them to really create their own stories, and I think that’s the most interesting thing,’ he added.

‘It’s not a gotcha show. It’s not a show where it’s like, “And here’s the twist we’re going to throw at them”.

‘It’s real stories of these real people who are participating in an experiment. I think it’s a really interesting experiment.’

Love Is Blind is available to stream on Netflix now, with After The Altar releasing on July 28.
