If you’ve ever fancied yourself as the next big WWE superstar, TikTok is giving you a chance to prove it.
The social video platform has launched its Resumes feature this week which lets job seekers apply for roles at partner brands including Target, Chipotle and even the sports entertainment giant itself.
That’s right – wannabe wrestlers can now try to grab Vince McMahon’s attention by sending in a video CV using the TikTok’s latest feature aimed at pushing it as a ‘new channel for recruitment and job discovery’.
In a press release announcing the pilot programme, which is sadly only available for US positions at the moment, the platform said: ‘Interested candidates are encouraged to creatively and authentically showcase their skillsets and experiences, and use #TikTokResumes in their caption when publishing their video resume to TikTok.’
You can also head right to the TikTok Resumes site itself where you have a search through the various listings.
The WWE superstar job description also offers a bit of an insight into what the company is looking for in its talent to discover someone to reach the same level as the likes of Roman Reigns, Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair.
As well as ‘world-class athleticism’ (that’s a given), the wrestling juggernaut also wants ‘personality and charisma’ as well as a combination of size, flexibility, strength and agility.
The ideal candidate will also have ‘global appeal’ and diversity, while WWE values ‘coachability’, professionalism and a strong work ethic.
On the listing, WWE adds: ‘At WWE we recruit athletes and performers from around the world with wide-ranging backgrounds including the NFL, NBA, MMA, Olympic sports, Collegiate athletics, the Military, Strongman, the world of entertainment … and now TikTok!’
In a statement announcing Resumes as a whole, Nick Tran – Global Head of Marketing at TikTok – said: ‘TikTok Resumes is officially open and accepting TikTok video resumes.

‘We’re humbled to be able to partner with some of the world’s most admired and emerging brands as we pilot a new way for job seekers to showcase their experiences and skillsets in creative and authentic ways.
‘#CareerTok is already a thriving subculture on the platform and we can’t wait to see how the community embraces TikTok Resumes and helps to reimagine recruiting and job discovery.’
The pilot programme is live now and runs until July 31.
