Ashley Cain has got two tattoos on his neck in memory of his late daughter Azaylia.

Baby Azaylia died in April at eight months old after fighting leukaemia for six months.

Ex On The Beach star Ashley has been documenting his grief on social media, and shared an emotional video which showed a massive inking on his neck, dedicated to his little girl.

In a video soundtracked by Ed Sheeran’s song Photograph, tattoo artist Uzzi Canby could be seen filling in an orange heart above the ‘i’ in Azaylia’s name.

‘Azaylia’ was written across the left side of his neck, beneath an angel wing, while on the right hand side of Ashley’s neck, he got the face of a lion with bright blue eyes.

Ashley and his girlfriend Safiyya Vorajee referred to their daughter as a ‘little lion’, and they had a Lion King themed procession for Azaylia at her funeral.

The reality star captioned the video: ‘My Angel, My Likkle Lion, My Azaylia. 👼🏼🦁

‘Thank you @uzzi_canby & @pash_canby you’ve really created something special. 🙏🏾✨ My number 1 forever and always! #Azaylia #DaddysGirl.’

Friends and followers were moved by Ashley’s tattoo tribute, with model Aimee-Rose commenting: ‘Beautiful like your baby girl.’

Ashley spent two days at the White Room in Plymouth getting his tattoos from Uzzi and Pash Canby, and thanked them on his Instagram stories.

Leaving the studio, he said: ‘These guys… they’ve just made the whole experience absolutely amazing and I’ve left with two amazing tattoos.’

He added on his stories: ‘I had a really good couple of days in Plymouth with my brother @Mattymoore9 and I couldn’t have met a nicer and more genuine two gents to have done my tattoos than @pash_canby and @uzzi_canby.

‘Not only did I get two amazing tattoos, but we laughed, we cried and we shared some really special and powerful moments. Thank you.’

Safiyya had previously got Azaylia’s name tattooed on her wrist, and shared plans of getting another tribute to her daughter on her skin.

Before Azaylia died, she said on Instagram: ‘We did some more castings of her yesterday, we got the prints for some necklaces, of handprints and footprints. And I was worried because, what if I dropped one. So then the lady was just really good, and she did these prints so that I can get a tattoo. So I can always have her so close.

‘So I decided to get the prints done so I can get a tattoo, of her little hands and her feet.’

Azaylia was diagnosed with leukaemia at just two months old, with Ashley telling fans that his daughter had ‘a very rare and aggressive form’ of cancer in October.

In February, just moments before the baby was due to leave the hospital after a stem cell transplantation, the family was informed Azaylia’s leukaemia had returned.

With the help of fans and friends, £1million was raised to fund vital CAR T-cell treatment in Singapore that Ashley and Safiyya hoped would save their daughter’s life.

However, the results of a CT scan showed that Azaylia had two tumours on her brain, as well as tumours in her stomach, spleen, lungs and kidneys, and she could no longer undergo the treatment in Singapore.

The baby was brought home to spend her last days with family.
