Love Island’s Toby Aromolaran has been subjected to death threats by cruel trolls after he kissed Chloe Burrows in last night’s episode of the series.

In the latest instalment of the ITV2 show, Chloe decided to make her move on Toby during the police-themed challenge, as she shared a smooch with him.

This devastated Kaz Kamwi, who is currently coupled up with Toby and had previously locked lips with him a few episodes prior.

Following the challenge, Toby wasted no time in dumping Kaz, jumping immediately into Chloe’s arms for a secret kiss on the balcony.

It’s fair to say fans have understandably been left shocked watching these scenes play out, but unfortunately, some have taken their feelings a bit too far.

Family members who have been controlling Toby’s Instagram account while he is in the villa have witnessed some of the vile messages and threats that have been sent to him following the episode.

They posted a screenshot to Instagram Stories displaying a series of comments which had been sent to Toby from one viewer, which read: ‘F*** you. You think your something. I hope you die. Go and crawl into a hole in the ground and dieeee. (sic)’

In response, Toby’s family wrote: ‘Since last nights episode there has been a lot of negative comments and messages to not just Toby but other people in the villa.

‘Here is just an example. It’s a real shame, what happened to #BeNice.’

It comes after Love Island bosses issued a statement after Chloe received death threats following Shannon Singh’s shock elimination from the show.

After Chloe made a bombshell entry into the villa, she was tasked with coupling up with a boy of her choice, leaving a girl single.

She decided to couple up with Aaron Francis, and not only did this mean that Shannon was without a partner, but she also had to leave the island for good.

Following this, Chloe’s family were forced to release a statement reminding viewers to ‘be kind’, revealing she had received hundreds of disgusting and harmful messages from viewers who had been upset at her decision.

Love Island has now said they will offer support to the cast’s friends and families in reporting such abuse.

‘We want Love Island to be a positive experience for all our cast and their friends and family members,’ they wrote in a statement shared on social media.

‘Last night’s episode created strong reactions but some viewers’ posts were wholly unacceptable. We take these matters extremely seriously and will support cast members and their families in reporting such posts.’

They added: ‘We would once again urge all our viewers to think before posting, and remember that our Islanders are people with feelings.’
