Cheryl gave fans a Girls Aloud blast from the past to show support for the England men’s team ahead of the Euro 2020 final against Italy on Sunday night.
Celebrities have sent messages of good luck to manager Gareth Southgate’s squad before the match, including Amanda Holden, Simon Cowell, Craig David and Katie Price.
The Call My Name singer joined in with a message of her own, sharing a throwback on Instagram of the girl band in their hey day.
In the snap, Cheryl and band mates Kimberley Walsh, Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding and Nicola Roberts stand together holding up the England flag.
From Nadine’s highlights, to the accessories, to strappy tops and the old school sunglasses, everything about the photo gave off strong 00s energy. Big MK One vibes. We can hear No Good Advice playing in our heads…
The pop star simply captioned the picture with three lion emojis, a nod to the England national team’s badge.
It was famously referenced by the 1996 song Three Lions (Football’s Coming Home) by The Lightning Seeds and comedians Frank Skinner and David Baddiel.
The Euro 2020 final will be the England squad’s first major final in 55 years.
The match, which kicks off at 8pm, will be available to watch on both BBC One and ITV tonight so fans have a choice.
