Euro 2020: Will the Love Island cast be allowed to watch the final?

The stars of Love Island have missed a chunk of England’s progress during Euro 2020 as they focus on working up a tan, going on dates and cracking on in a villa in Spain, where they have been since before this series began on June 28.

They likes of Sharon Gaffka, Hugo Hammond and Lucinda Strafford have been blissfully unaware as celebs including Amanda Holden, James Norton, Simon Cowell, and Craig David sent messages of support on Sunday.

As the nation hopes football will finally come home when the men’s team take on Italy at Wembley at 8pm tonight, the islanders are going to be nervously waiting to hear their fate in a recoupling that will see the remaining single person dumped.

The sexy squad of singletons have no idea that England are in the Euro 2020 final, but as it’s the men’s team’s first major final in 55 years, surely some allowance will be made to let the Love Island villa tune in, right? Right?

Right!

ITV has confirmed to Metro.co.uk that this year’s islanders will indeed get to watch the Euro 2020 final.

Tonight’s episode of Love Island, that has been pushed back by an hour, will see new bombshell Teddy Soares go on four dates before deciding which girl to couple up with.

He chooses Kaz Kamwi, Rachel Finni, Sharon Gaffka and Faye Winter.

Things could get tense as all four girls are feeling ready for Teddy, but the power is in his hands as he has to choose which girl he wants to get to know better.

He doesn’t have long to choose as later that evening there is a recoupling – and it’s the boys’ decision.

The girl who is still single by the end will be out the door. Will we find out tonight, or will producers tease us all again?

Love Island continues tonight at 10pm on ITV.
